About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and creative Lead Video Editor to join their team, working entirely remotely. This role is central to producing high-quality video content that captivates audiences and supports various marketing and communication objectives. You will be responsible for the entire post-production process, from assembling raw footage to finalizing polished videos, including editing, color correction, sound design, and motion graphics.
We are looking for an individual with a strong visual storytelling sensibility, exceptional technical editing skills, and the ability to lead projects with minimal supervision. This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented editor to work flexibly and contribute to impactful video projects.
- Edit video footage from various sources into engaging and coherent narratives that align with project objectives.
- Perform color grading, audio mixing, and sound design to enhance the overall quality and impact of videos.
- Incorporate motion graphics, titles, and visual effects as required for specific projects.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project vision and deliver accordingly.
- Manage and organize video assets, ensuring efficient workflow and proper archiving.
- Stay current with video editing software, techniques, and industry trends to maintain a high level of creative output.
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional video editing experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
- Expert proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Solid understanding of motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is highly desirable.
- Experience with color correction and audio mixing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail, creative flair, and excellent storytelling abilities.
