About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly creative and organized Catering Event Planner to manage and execute a diverse range of events remotely. This role requires a meticulous approach to coordinating all logistical and culinary aspects, ensuring seamless and memorable experiences for clients. You will be responsible for liaising with clients, selecting appropriate caterers, managing budgets, and overseeing the event from conception to completion.

• Consult with clients to understand their event vision, needs, and budget, providing expert advice on menu options and themes.
• Source, vet, and manage relationships with a network of high-quality caterers and food vendors.
• Develop detailed event plans, including timelines, staffing requirements, and logistical arrangements.
• Oversee event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial parameters.
• Coordinate all on-site logistics (or virtual setups for virtual events), ensuring smooth execution on the day of the event.
• Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback to continuously improve service offerings and client satisfaction.

• Proven experience as an Event Planner, particularly with a focus on catering and food service coordination.
• Strong portfolio showcasing successful management of various event types and sizes.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
