ABOUT THE GLOBAL VOICE

The Global Voice is an independent media house, built out of Goa, covering the world for a global English-speaking audience from an Indian perspective.

We built TGV because most global coverage of the world runs through a Western lens by default. We think India has a distinct, credible point of view on how the world works, and that view deserves a serious, well-run publication, not just a page that posts headlines.

This is an in-office role. You'll be running our social media presence end to end, writing the copy, building the creative, editing simple videos, running paid campaigns, and appearing on camera when a story needs a face on it. This isn't a role where you hand off the creative to someone else and just schedule posts.

Since there's no way to share links through this application, add links to your published work, campaigns you've run, or writing samples directly in your resume before applying. Applications without proof of work will not be considered.

SALARY:  3.6 LPA, along with performance-based incentives

EXPERIENCE:

2–4 years
Work from Office: 6 days (in Goa).

This is an on-site role, there is no-hybrid/remote work option.

This role is not open to freshers directly. Every fresher joins through a 2-month paid internship first, with a real shot at converting to full-time based on performance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Reserach and write copy for social posts, captions, scripts, and campaigns across platforms, in a voice that sounds like The Global Voice, not a template
Plan and run paid ad campaigns, budgeting, targeting, creative testing, and reporting on what's actually working
Design simple graphics and edit short-form video for reels and social content
Go on camera when a story calls for it, explaining or reacting to news in your own words
Track platform performance and adjust strategy based on what's actually landing with the audience, not just what looks good
Meet daily posting deadlines without being followed up

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

At least 2–4 years of proven experience running social media for a brand, publication, or business, with real campaigns and results you can show
Hands-on experience with paid ads, Meta, Google, or platform-specific ad managers, not just theoretical knowledge
Working knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop, or equivalent) and basic video editing (Cap Cut, Premiere, or equivalent)
Strong copywriting skills, sharp, concise, and able to adapt tone across platforms
Comfortable being on camera, this is part of the job, not an occasional ask
You actually follow news and current affairs, and understand what makes a story worth posting
You can join us in Goa immediately

WHO WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR

People who've only scheduled posts or managed a personal page, not run paid campaigns or owned strategy
People uncomfortable being on camera
People who need a lot of hand-holding to figure out what to post next
People who treat deadlines as suggestions

OUR HIRING PROCESS
We keep our process simple, transparent, and respectful of your time. Here's what to expect:

Step 1:
Apply
Submit your application (Don't forget to add your proof of work in the resume)

Step 2:
Skill Assessment
If your profile is a good fit, you'll receive a skill assessment from . You'll have 24 hours from the time you receive it to complete and submit it. The test is designed to give us a real sense of your skills, so we encourage you to approach it as you would actually work and refrain from using AI. Your work remains entirely yours.

We will not use, edit, or publish any part of your submission. You're free to use it elsewhere.

Step 3:
Interview with the Founder
If your assessment aligns with what we're looking for, you'll be invited to an interview with our founder. This is a conversation both ways: we'll discuss your work, your approach, and how you see yourself contributing to TGV, and you'll have the chance to ask us anything about the role, the team, and where we're headed.

Please keep an eye on your inbox (and spam folder) for emails from  at each stage.
