About the Role
Our client, a prominent player in the Arts & Entertainment industry, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor for a contract position based remotely. This role is essential for transforming raw footage into polished, engaging video content that aligns with creative briefs and brand standards. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including promotional videos, documentaries, social media content, and corporate communications.
The ideal candidate is proficient with industry-standard editing software and possesses a strong sense of visual storytelling and pacing.
- Edit raw video footage into cohesive and compelling final products using non-linear editing software.
- Incorporate graphics, animations, music, sound effects, and color correction to enhance video quality.
- Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project requirements and creative intent.
- Ensure all edits meet technical specifications and are delivered on time.
- Manage and organize video assets, project files, and archives effectively.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make revisions as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse editing projects.
- Expertise in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and delivery standards.
- Proficiency in motion graphics and basic animation principles is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively in a remote setting.
