Broadcast Producer

About the Role

Our client is searching for a dynamic and organized Broadcast Producer to manage the end-to-end production of television and digital content in Durban . You will be instrumental in bringing creative visions to life, managing budgets, schedules, and teams to deliver high-quality broadcast assets. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, working within the fast-paced Arts & Entertainment sector.

You will coordinate with directors, crew, talent, and post-production houses to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, maintaining exceptional production values.

• Oversee all aspects of pre-production, production, and post-production for various broadcast projects.
• Develop and manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets.
• Create and maintain detailed production schedules, coordinating resources and talent effectively.
• Liaise with clients, creative teams, and external vendors to ensure project goals are met.
• Manage crew hiring, talent negotiation, and location scouting.
• Ensure all productions comply with relevant broadcast regulations and company standards.

• Proven experience as a Producer or Production Manager in the Arts & Entertainment or broadcast industry.
• Strong understanding of television production processes and workflows.
• Demonstrated success in managing budgets and complex schedules.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a live production environment.
• Familiarity with post-production techniques and software.
