Junior UX​/UI Design Apprentice

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior UX/UI Design Apprentice for a fully remote position, ideal for individuals based in or near Port Elizabeth . This apprenticeship offers a fantastic chance to learn the intricacies of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design in a digital-first environment. You will work under experienced designers, gaining practical skills in user research, wire framing, prototyping, and visual design.

• Assist in user research activities, including surveys and usability testing, in a remote context.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for digital products.

• Collaborate with the design team and other stakeholders through virtual communication tools.
• Learn and apply design thinking methodologies throughout the product development lifecycle.

• A strong portfolio showcasing design skills (even personal or academic projects).
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD is a plus.
• Understanding of UX/UI design principles and user-centered design processes.
