Senior UX​/UI Designer

Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to lead the design vision for their digital products in Stellenbosch . You will be responsible for creating intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user experiences that meet user needs and business goals. This role involves conducting user research, developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, and collaborating closely with product managers and developers to bring designs to life.

The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user-centered design principles and a passion for crafting exceptional digital interfaces.

• Conduct user research, persona development, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts.
• Design high-fidelity visual interfaces that are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the design and development process.
• Advocate for the user, ensuring that design solutions are intuitive, accessible, and meet user needs.
• Maintain and evolve design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency across products.

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design for web and mobile applications.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Understanding of front-end development principles and the ability to work closely with developers.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
