Remote VFX Supervisor

Our client is looking for an experienced and innovative Remote VFX Supervisor to lead their visual effects teams on ambitious film and television projects. This fully remote position requires exceptional artistic vision, strong technical knowledge, and outstanding leadership skills. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire VFX pipeline, from conceptualization and bidding to on-set supervision (remotely if applicable) and final compositing, ensuring the highest quality and creative integrity.

• Oversee the creative and technical execution of all visual effects shots.
• Collaborate with directors and producers to define the visual style and scope of VFX work.
• Develop and manage VFX budgets and schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
• Lead and mentor VFX artists and supervisors, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Liaise with on-set VFX supervisors (if applicable) and client representatives to ensure seamless integration of VFX elements.
• Review daily work, provide constructive feedback, and ensure the final shots meet the highest quality standards.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in VFX technology and techniques.

• Extensive experience in visual effects for film and television, with a strong portfolio demonstrating leadership and creative success.
• Deep understanding of 3D animation, modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and compositing.
• Proficiency with industry-standard VFX software and pipelines.
• Proven ability to manage large teams and complex VFX projects.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
