Remote Event Planner

Our client is seeking a highly organized and creative Remote Event Planner to design and execute exceptional virtual and hybrid events for a global audience. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage all aspects of event planning from conception to completion, without requiring physical presence at the event location. You will be responsible for coordinating with stakeholders, managing vendors, overseeing event technology platforms, and ensuring seamless execution of virtual experiences.

This role is ideal for an experienced planner who excels at remote collaboration and thrives on delivering successful, engaging online and blended events from their home office, impacting engagement for clients across various industries.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute virtual and hybrid events, including webinars, conferences, and online workshops.
• Source and manage virtual event platforms, ensuring smooth technical operation and attendee engagement.
• Develop event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote events and manage attendee registration.
• Source and manage external vendors, including AV providers, speakers, and digital content creators.
• Provide exceptional remote support to event attendees and speakers throughout the event lifecycle.

• Proven experience as an Event Planner , with a strong portfolio of successfully executed virtual or hybrid events.
• Exceptional organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom Events, Hopin, Bizzabo) and event management software.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, comfortable working in a remote setting.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
• A degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
