Visual Designer

Visual UX/UI Designer (Remote)

TEKsystems is partnering with a client seeking a Visual UX/UI Designer to support content and commerce initiatives across web and mobile experiences.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the visual design side of UX/UI. Rather than owning end-to-end product strategy, you'll focus on enhancing established user experiences through exceptional visual design, imagery, branding, typography, and content presentation.

Responsibilities

+ Create visually compelling web and mobile experiences within established UX frameworks and user flows.

+ Design engaging layouts, imagery treatments, and content presentations that align with brand standards.

+ Produce high-fidelity mockups, visual concepts, and design assets.

+ Work within existing design systems, component libraries, and style guides.

+ Collaborate with UX designers, product teams, developers, and stakeholders.

+ Support new page development and ongoing enhancements across digital platforms.

+ Ensure visual solutions meet accessibility and usability standards.

+ Contribute within an Agile, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

+ Portfolio demonstrating strong visual/UI design work for consumer-facing digital products.

+ Experience designing responsive web and mobile experiences.

+ Advanced proficiency in Figma.

+ Experience working with established design systems and component libraries.

+ Strong communication and collaboration skills.

We're looking for someone who is stronger on the visual/UI design side than the product strategy side. Candidates with experience creating engaging digital experiences through visual storytelling, imagery selection, branding, and content presentation will be especially successful in this role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
