Photo Editor

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Remote Photo Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing, retouching, and editing digital photographs to meet professional quality standards and align with our brand's visual identity.

This role is suitable for someone with a strong eye for detail, an understanding of visual aesthetics, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.

• Edit, retouch, and enhance digital photographs for professional use.
• Adjust image exposure, brightness, contrast, color balance, sharpness, and composition.
• Remove unwanted objects, blemishes, backgrounds, and other visual distractions.
• Perform image cropping, resizing, color correction, and photo restoration where required.
• Maintain consistency in image quality, style, and brand guidelines.
• Organize, label, and manage digital image files and project folders.
• Review edited images for accuracy, clarity, and quality before delivery.
• Collaborate with designers, photographers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders.
• Incorporate feedback and make revisions when necessary.
• Manage multiple assignments while meeting agreed project deadlines.
• Keep up with current photo-editing techniques, tools, and creative trends.

• Experience in photo editing, image retouching, or digital image processing is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or equivalent photo-editing software.
• Basic understanding of color correction, lighting, image composition, and retouching techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and a good sense of visual design.
• Ability to follow instructions, creative briefs, and established editing guidelines.
• Good organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver quality results in a remote setting.
• Reliable internet access and a suitable computer capable of running photo-editing software.
• A portfolio of previous photo-editing work is preferred.

• Experience with product photography, portraits, lifestyle images, or commercial photography.
• Knowledge of image formats, resolution requirements, and digital asset management.
• Familiarity with Canva, Capture One, or other creative applications.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design and digital content production.
• Ability to handle confidential files and respect image usage rights.
