We're working with a leading international manufacturing organisation to recruit a creative and visually driven Learning Graphic Designer to join its growing Capability & Learning team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Graphic Designer or creative professional who enjoys transforming information into visually engaging, accessible and professional digital materials.

You don't need to have previously worked in L&D. If you're a talented designer with strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills and experience creating professional materials within a commercial environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing
  • Designing visually engaging digital learning materials, presentations, graphics and supporting resources for employees across the organisation.
  • Transforming existing information, technical material and learning content into clear, creative and professional visual designs.
  • Using graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Cloud, to develop high-quality learning assets and digital resources.
  • Creating visual layouts, illustrations, infographics and other engaging design elements that make complex information easier to understand.
  • Working closely with Learning & Development colleagues and subject matter experts to understand design requirements and bring their ideas to life.
  • Applying strong principles of typography, layout, colour, branding and visual communication across learning materials.
  • Developing visually consistent resources that can be used across different departments, locations and international teams.
  • Supporting the design of digital and blended learning experiences, including visual elements for online learning modules and self-directed resources.
  • Producing professional presentations, visual guides, knowledge resources and other materials to support employee learning.
  • Ensuring all designs are accessible, easy to navigate, engaging and aligned with company brand guidelines.
  • Managing multiple design requests and projects, balancing creative quality with agreed deadlines.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to refine designs based on stakeholder feedback.
What we're looking for
  • Previous experience in a Graphic Design, Digital Design, Creative Design, Marketing Design or similar commercially focused position.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating creative ability, professional graphic design work and visual communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe, particularly tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, or equivalent professional design software.
  • Excellent understanding of visual design principles, including layout, typography, composition, colour and branding.
  • Experience designing engaging digital materials, presentations, marketing collateral, visual resources or other professional creative content.
  • The ability to take existing written or technical information and transform it into visually appealing, easy-to-understand designs.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce polished, consistent work.
  • Confidence working with different stakeholders, interpreting briefs and responding positively to feedback.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple design projects and deadlines.
  • A creative mindset with an interest in developing engaging digital experiences.
It would be beneficial, but isn't essential, if you have:
  • Experience designing materials for Learning & Development, internal training or employee communications.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms or digital authoring tools.
  • Experience creating interactive learning materials, animations or motion graphics.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering or technical business.
What's in it for you?
  • Salary up to £40,000.
  • Up to 10% annual bonus.
  • Hybrid working - 3 days in the Holywell office and 2 days from home.
  • 24 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, increasing with service.
  • Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexible working hours.
  • Contributory pension, loyalty incentives and life insurance.
  • Opportunity to work on creative projects supporting an international business.
  • Excellent training, career development and progression opportunities within a growing Capability & Learning function.
