Senior Graphic Designer - Advertising

Our client is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join their dynamic marketing team in Johannesburg . You will be instrumental in shaping the visual identity and brand messaging across various advertising campaigns. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of design principles, and the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling visual narratives.

You will collaborate closely with copywriters, marketing managers, and art directors to develop innovative design solutions that resonate with target audiences and drive brand engagement in the competitive Arts & Entertainment sector.

• Conceptualize and create visually stunning designs for digital and print advertising materials, including social media graphics, banner ads, brochures, and print publications.
• Develop and maintain brand consistency across all marketing collateral, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and translate them into impactful design solutions.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from initial concept to final delivery, meeting tight deadlines.
• Stay abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies within the Arts & Entertainment industry.

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing advertising and branding work.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and composition.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present design concepts effectively.
