Seeking a talented Sound Designer for an independent dark comedy pilot. This is for around 3 weeks of work between November 12, 2026 and December 12, 2026, paid at $250/day flat. The pilot has a distinct, quirky tone, blending sharp dialogue with surreal visual elements, and we need a soundscape to match. We're aiming for a festival run, so high production value is key.
You'll be responsible for all post-production audio, including dialogue editing, sound effects design, foley, and mixing. We're looking for someone creative who can help define the sonic world of our story. You should have your own professional-grade DAW and sound libraries, and be comfortable working remotely and collaboratively. Experience on narrative projects, even short films, is preferred, but we're open to all experience levels if your reel showcases strong creative work.
Please be prepared to deliver a high-quality stereo mix and stems. The team is small but dedicated, and we're excited to bring a unique vision to life. This is a great opportunity to make a significant creative impact on a promising project.
