Content Writer & Editor AI Evaluation

Apply your writing and editorial expertise to improve the quality of text used in AI evaluation and training. This remote contract role focuses on assessing written content, identifying low-quality or artificial language, providing detailed editorial feedback, and helping ensure training datasets meet high standards for clarity, accuracy, structure, and natural English usage. No prior AI experience is required.

• Assess written content for clarity, coherence, accuracy, and compliance with project quality standards.
• Conduct detailed evaluations of writing and provide constructive, actionable feedback for improvement.
• Identify and annotate AI-generated content, including low-quality, formulaic, or unnatural text.
• Review and edit documents for grammar, syntax, structure, tone, and overall readability.
• Apply copyediting, proofreading, editorial judgment, and content quality assessment skills across assigned materials.
• Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and other specialists, providing clear editorial insights and recommendations.
• Produce written analyses and recommendations designed to improve the effectiveness of AI model training datasets.
• Complete assignments within defined project timelines while maintaining consistent and reliable quality.

• Proven experience writing, editing, or evaluating text-based documents.
• Bachelor''s degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field, or previous experience teaching English.
• Native-level English proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise in grammar, syntax, copyediting, proofreading, and editorial review.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong editorial judgment.
• Ability to assess content quality and provide constructive feedback.
• Demonstrated ability to recognize nuanced differences between human-written and AI-generated text.
• Prior experience with content assessment, editorial review, or quality assurance projects.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Remote contractor engagement. Assignments are completed according to defined project timelines. The work involves remote collaboration with project coordinators and other specialists.

Hourly compensation ranges from $22 to $70.
