Freelance YouTube Video Editor

Prints Well is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Freelance Video Editor to help produce engaging, professional You Tube content. This role focuses on transforming raw footage into polished, educational videos.

Most raw video recordings are under one hour in length, with finished videos typically running under 15 minutes.

The ideal candidate has experience editing You Tube content, understands effective pacing and storytelling, and can independently manage projects while meeting deadlines.

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging You Tube videos, including tutorials and educational content.
• Work with footage recorded using Cap Cut Desktop, Loom, and other recording tools.
• Remove unnecessary pauses, mistakes, and filler content to improve pacing and viewer engagement.
• Incorporate text overlays, transitions, B-roll, and graphics as needed.
• Add pre-designed, branded introductions and outros to each video.
• Perform basic audio adjustments, color correction, and video enhancements.
• Ensure all videos follow Prints Well's brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style.
• Export completed videos in the appropriate format and resolution for You Tube.
• Complete a minimum of one round of revisions based on feedback from the marketing team.
• Maintain organized project files and deliver completed videos within agreed-upon timelines.

• 1–2 years of video editing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Cap Cut Desktop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or comparable video editing software.
• Experience working with Loom recordings and screen-recorded tutorial content is a plus.
• Experience editing You Tube tutorials or educational content.
• Understanding of video pacing, storytelling, audio quality, and visual consistency.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Portfolio or examples of previous video editing work required.

This is an ongoing freelance opportunity with compensation of $150 per completed video
.

• Raw footage is typically less than one hour in length.

• Prints Well will provide raw footage, pre-designed intro and outro assets, brand guidelines, and creative direction.
• Each project includes video editing, integration of the provided intro and outro, and a minimum of one round of revisions.
• Project deadlines will be established in advance based on content needs and freelancer availability.
