Senior Motion Graphics Designer & Animator; Remote-First

Our client, a leading digital media agency recognized for its innovative visual storytelling, is seeking a highly creative Senior Motion Graphics Designer & Animator to join their established remote-first team. This role is crucial for conceptualizing and executing dynamic visual content for a wide range of clients, including broadcast, advertising, and corporate communications. You will be responsible for transforming static concepts into engaging animated sequences, explainer videos, and title sequences.

• Conceptualize, design, and animate high-quality motion graphics for various media platforms.
• Develop storyboards and animatics to visualize complex ideas and sequences.
• Create animated explainer videos, promotional content, social media graphics, and broadcast packages.
• Collaborate with creative directors, designers, and clients to understand project requirements and visual goals.
• Ensure all motion graphics align with client branding guidelines and project objectives.
• Optimize animations for different platforms and delivery formats, maintaining performance and visual fidelity.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and software in motion graphics and animation.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.
• Provide creative feedback and guidance to junior designers and animators within the remote team.
• Experiment with new styles and techniques to continuously innovate and enhance visual output.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional motion graphics design and animation skills across various styles.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Experience with 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) is a significant plus.
• Solid understanding of animation principles, timing, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in designing and animating infographics and data visualizations.
• A keen eye for typography, color, layout, and composition.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Film, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
