Video Editor; Fully Remote

• We are looking for a video editor to work as a full-time contractor with one client in a regulated industry, across paid ads and organic social.
• Most of the work is precision work: cutting and versioning footage that already exists, ensuring all on-screen content is approved.

• Produce multiple variations of each concept, resize videos into all required formats, and adjust framing.
• Build organic social videos from approved templates and add/update on-screen elements including required disclosure copy.
• Work from briefs, plan priorities with the creative lead, and amend assets based on feedback.

• 5+ years of professional video editing and motion experience, with a portfolio.
• Expert in After Effects, comfortable in Premiere Pro, and able to use AI tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail, able to QA text elements and manage many near-identical versions.

• You work with the producer and creative lead, with a motion designer onboarding you.
• Batches usually have 2-3 days turnaround, with briefs and feedback via Notion and Slack.
• Every delivery gets checked against approved copy; you own the first check.
