Social Media & Product Content Creator

Queer Craft is an LGBTQ+-owned studio making tabletop games and gaming accessories, including our own TCG (GRM), dice towers and other pieces that bring queer art to the game table. We’re looking for a freelance social media and product content creator with strong small-product photography and short-form video skills.

This is a hybrid, ongoing engagement, not a fully remote position. You should live within about one hour of Hoboken, NJ and be available for two scheduled on-site production sessions per month.

Please note:

our art and content include queer and kink-adjacent themes (e.g., pup imagery). You’ll need to be comfortable shooting and posting this content and know how to keep it within Instagram and Tik Tok community guidelines.

• 12 social posts: four 15-45 second Reels and eight static posts or carousels (up to 5 slides)
• Content planning, captions, scheduling/publishing, and one brief performance report
• 20 finished, edited product photos (mostly standard product shots, a few styled), exported ready for Shopify and Etsy. Final edited files only; RAW files not required.
• Two on-site visits to our Hoboken workspace for photo, video, and behind-the-scenes capture
• Basic comment engagement within an agreed monthly time allotment that you schedule
• Two revision rounds per asset

• $1,500-1,800/month fixed price, based on portfolio and agreed scope
• Extra work: $40-$60/hour, pre-approved in writing
• Additional edited product images during shoots: $25-$35/image

• 3+ years of social content and product photography experience, with a portfolio showing both
• Strong short-form video and small-product photography skills (crafts, jewelry, dice, or similar)
• Comfortable representing an LGBTQ+ brand. Tabletop gaming or geek culture experience is a plus.
• Reliable communication and organized production planning

We start with a paid test ($350–$400): one Reel, one carousel, and five product photos. If that goes well, we do a paid 30-day trial, then renew monthly.
