Why this role, and what have you built *
We would rather read four honest sentences than a cover letter.
I agree to Brainfullstack storing this application to consider me for this role. You can ask us to delete it at any time — see our contact page .
We reply within one week, either way.
What we look for- A portfolio of shipped product work rather than concept pieces
- Can own a design system and the tokens on the code side of it
- Treats accessibility as a constraint, not a review step
- Can show confidence and uncertainty in an interface instead of hiding them
Not every line has to be a yes. Apply if most of it sounds like you.
What happens next- 01 A 30-minute conversation With someone you would actually work with. No recruiter screen, no take-home before we have spoken.
- 02 A paid work session Four hours, paid at contractor rate, on a problem close to real work. You keep whatever you build.
- 03 A deep-dive on your craft Ninety minutes on something you have done before. We ask about the decisions and the parts that went wrong.
- 04 A decision within a week Offer or not, with written feedback either way. We have never taken longer and do not intend to start.
We pay for the work session at contractor rate. Asking for unpaid labour from someone who already has a job is not a fair trade.
