Job Description: Department Overview and Job Details are focused on delivering insurance-related customer service and value-based advice through the TD Contact Centre.
What You’ll DoAs the voice of TD, you will be passionate about understanding our customers and providing value-based advice conversations. You may assist in-bound callers with the purchase of home or vehicle insurance or handle inquiries on existing policies. You will deliver legendary customer service by offering solutions that meet each caller’s unique insurance needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Make people’s day by delivering outstanding customer service and building relationships through knowledge of TD products, services, and solutions.
- Solve problems efficiently by resolving inquiries at first point of contact with empathy.
- Achieve goals by meeting performance objectives, including customer experience survey results, advice quality, compliance regulations, and productivity targets.
- Participate in ongoing training and coaching to grow and develop in the role.
After in-person training and onboarding, the role operates in a hybrid model. You will work from a TD premise at least 2 days a week with the option to work from a private home office on other days, subject to minimum system requirements. Hybrid details may change based on business needs; the hiring manager will provide more information.

- Post-secondary education and/or relevant experience
- Quebec only:
Secondary school diploma or equivalent; AMF recognition of at least three years of full-time employment experience - Availability to work Monday–Friday 8am–11pm and Saturdays 9am–6pm
- Exceptional listening skills and curiosity to help customers with value-based advice (experience in financial or service industries preferred)
- Ability to multitask and navigate computer systems with speed and accuracy while meeting metrics
- Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, headsets, etc.)
- Flexibility, resiliency, and positive attitude for challenging situations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Integrity in handling sensitive customer information per regulatory and compliance guidelines
- Effective verbal and written communication with customers and colleagues
- General Insurance experience or license in home province is an asset
