Overview
Temporary Customer Service Professional I at Cambia Health Solutions. This is a temporary remote opportunity available to candidates in WA, , OR, and UT. This position has the potential to become a Cambia Full-Time position (FTE). This is NOT a commitment or guarantee of full-time employment with Cambia. Starting pay range is $19.75 - $23.00/hour depending on experience and location. HR will reach out and provide specific information.
This is a non-benefited role.
Upcoming Start Dates include December 8th, 2025. Your start date will be assigned based on class availability and the date of your application.
Responsibilities- Serve as the caller’s guide and advocate, addressing questions about benefits, claims and eligibility.
- Research thoroughly to find answers when information is not readily available.
- Provide accurate, compliant information with a positive and professional approach.
- Tailor communications to meet each caller’s unique needs and priorities, and seek opportunities to collaborate and improve skills through feedback and learning.
- Prioritize caller satisfaction while representing Cambia’s mission and values.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months of customer service call center experience; or 6 months of customer service experience in insurance, retail, banking, hospital, medical office or similar industry with extensive customer contact; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient PC skills and the ability to navigate multiple applications while on calls.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts and calculations.
- Excellent multitasking skills under pressure; resilience, patience and a positive attitude.
- Clear, concise and empathetic demeanor when responding to inquiries.
- Proactive problem-solving and the ability to ask insightful questions to clarify callers’ needs.
- Sound decision-making and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in products and regulations; ability to incorporate feedback to improve skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team; discretion handling confidential information.
- Preferred: knowledge of medical terminology and coding; experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity is highly desired.
- May be required to work overtime or outside normal hours.
- Required to have high-speed internet connection and a private, distraction-free workspace.
