Base pay range

Founded in 2003, Maximo Nivel is a leader in study abroad and educational travel programs. Our intercultural centers are locally-based organizations in Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Peru; and we offer online programs as well. Maximo Nivel-Online programs include:
English as a Second Language, Spanish Immersion, TEFL Certification, and International Internships. Other bespoke programs are offered virtually as well.

Tasks

The Online Program Advisor works as part of the Maximo Nivel-Online team and reports to the Commercial Director. The role is an inside sales and client service position responsible for managing enrollment—helping clients, students, and travelers choose the best program(s). The Program Advisor works with individuals and groups who want to participate in Maximo Nivel programs, providing advice and support throughout the enrollment process to help potential clients better understand the program options we offer and which program is best for them.

This person leads all email, Live Chat, Whats App, and phone follow‑up with potential clients, students, travelers, and partners to inform them about Maximo Nivel's programs and help them better understand the program options. This requires frequent emailing, phone and Zoom usage, and work with our CRM (client database).

Program booking support
  • CRM and database management
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with clients, agents, and partners worldwide
  • Processing enrollments and collecting client documents
  • Answering applicant questions by phone, email, and Live Chat
  • Finalizing all details of a participant’s program to ensure a rewarding experience

The Program Advisor also provides marketing support, helping to update and maintain promotional documents, standardized emails, and social media. Other marketing support duties include processing payments and refunds and ensuring that all program balances are paid. Some travel may be required for training or to attend fairs and conferences.

Requirements
  • Fully bilingual with fluency in English and Spanish
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Inside sales experience is preferred
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Professional and friendly phone etiquette
  • Client service oriented
  • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, and database experience
  • Global awareness and a passion for learning and travel
