Con Serve is seeking a Call Center Representative to support debt counseling services for college and university clients. This is a full‑time, remote position with a pay range of $20.00 to $21.00 per hour.

Our representatives use a consultative approach to manage and collect on delinquent accounts, helping consumers identify the most suitable resolution. Client satisfaction is paramount, and we seek customer‑focused, detail‑oriented professionals who thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Obtain information from consumers to assess financial situations and determine solutions.
- Provide solutions enabling consumers to resolve obligations administratively or voluntarily.
- Gather appropriate documentation and maintain follow‑up records.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals set by management.
- Make 125–200 calls per day in a call center or remote environment.
- Achieve targeted monthly recovery performance objectives.
- Maintain accurate system records to maximize contacts.
- Assist in locating and contacting consumers or businesses (skip‑tracing).
- Adhere to Con Serve’s Professional Practices Management System, Code of Conduct, and Compliance Program.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Work 8‑hour shifts: three days between 8:00‑9:30 EST to 5:00‑6:30 CST/EST and two evenings noon EST–9:00 PM. Flexibility within shift hours is required.
- Optional Saturday morning shift.
- Fluent conversational English; proficient reading and writing.
- Strong verbal communication, persuasive negotiation, and resolution skills.
- Intermediate computer skills for documenting calls and navigating software.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Attention to detail and independent problem‑solving.
- Motivation to learn and collaborate positively.
- Maintain confidentiality and trustworthiness.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain State Collections Licensure.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- No conflicts of interest with Con Serve or its clients.
- Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
- Sit or stay sedentary for the entire shift.
- Talk and listen on phone for the entire shift.
- Type on a computer for the entire shift.
