Overview
Labcorp is seeking a Client Customer Service Support Representative to join our team. This role supports Client AR & Customer Service in RCM, working with physician offices, hospital laboratories, patients and internal customers to address client needs accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service and motivated to work with a customer-centric team in an innovative company.
Responsibilities- Manage inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner, averaging 50-60 calls per day
- Follow approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) to update and provide necessary information to resolve denied claims
- Continuously evaluate current policies and SOPs and provide recommendations for process improvements
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Read and understand explanations of benefits or related correspondence
- Accurately document all accounts in accordance with guidelines and regulations
- Communicate via telephone with physicians, insurance companies and patients
- Utilize tools to verify eligibility, claim status and/or obtain better billing information
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum one year of work experience required
- Previous call center and customer service experience strongly preferred
- Previous medical experience strongly preferred
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills with active listening preferred
- Ability to meet deadlines and exercise critical thinking skills preferred
- Dedicated area to perform duties without interference; structured environment with scheduled lunch and breaks
- Ability to manage time and tasks independently while maintaining productivity
- Internet download speed of at least 50 Mbps
- No satellite internet
- Ability to connect equipment to router/modem with Ethernet cable; no Wi-Fi, mobile routers or mobile hotspots with Ethernet port

Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 9 AM to 6 PM EST, Friday 8 AM to 5 PM EST.
Pay Range: $15.25 - $16.00 per hour (state minimums apply if higher).
