Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Chat Support Agent to join our remote customer service team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to our clients and customers through live chat, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience. Key ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries via live chat, email, and other digital channels.
Resolve customer complaints and issues with empathy, patience, and efficiency.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve complex customer queries.
Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services when appropriate.
Stay updated on company products, services, policies, and promotions to provide accurate information.
Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response time, customer satisfaction, and resolution rate.
Excellent written communication skills in English.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously.
Familiarity with chat support software, CRM systems, or similar tools.
High level of professionalism and customer-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in customer service, technical support, or a related field.
Previous experience in chat or online support is highly desirable.
Experience in handling high volumes of customer inquiries while maintaining quality service.

Must be available to work full-time hours (typically 40 hours per week).
Availability for evening, weekend, or holiday shifts may be required depending on client demands.
Strong typing speed and accuracy.
