This remote position is open to candidates located anywhere. The Energy Efficiency Customer Support Specialist supports utility customers to save money and improve their home’s energy efficiency through phone, chat, and email interactions.
Responsibilities- Handle inbound or outbound voice calls and support customers and tech inquiries.
- Navigate multiple platforms and scripts, providing service enrollment, program education, visit scheduling, tech support, and status updates.
- Use personal performance data and progress dashboards in real time.
- Maintain a committed schedule with set lunches and breaks.
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Typing speed 35+ WPM.
- Minimum 6 months customer‑facing experience; inbound/outbound call center experience preferred.
- No attendance or punctuality concerns.
- Sales‑oriented with a focus on customer service satisfaction.
- “How can I help you?” attitude.
- Ability to balance multiple platforms and navigate scripts.
- Company provided laptop, software, and equipment.
- Home internet: 10 Mbps upload / 20 Mbps download, 99 % latency; ability to hardwire internet.
- Dedicated home office space with two power connections.
- Phone presence throughout shift; no on‑call during scheduled hours.
$17/hour + $65/month internet stipend.
