Licensed Customer Service Representative - Remote

This role is a remote, full-time position with pay range information provided by Liberty Mutual Insurance. Candidates must hold a valid Property & Casualty License or a Personal Lines License and be located within the Eastern Time Zone.

We are hiring exclusively for the Gold Customer Service licensed class starting November 3, 2025. As a licensed insurance professional, you will support Safeco’s leadership in the independent agency channel by providing expert, around-the-clock assistance to agents and customers, helping drive satisfaction, growth, and retention. The role requires 24/7 customer service coverage and participation in paid, mandatory training.

• Assist customers by building rapport and efficiently handling inbound calls in a fast-paced call center, addressing questions related to renewals, coverage, eligibility, billing, and policy changes.
• Assess customer and agent needs to drive satisfaction, business growth, and retention.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to help customers protect what matters most, using upselling and cross-selling techniques for insurance products and services.
• Uphold customer care standards by meeting goals for call quality, handling time, lead transfer ratio, adherence, first-call resolution, and reliability.
• Accurately maintain and track data across computer systems.

• Property & Casualty License or a Personal Lines License.
• Associate degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 months of related work experience; customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to review, record, and organize written data from varied sources.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to multitask in a structured environment.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office tools.
• Understanding of the organization’s policies, standards, and procedures for customer interactions.

Base pay range: $37,000.00/yr - $76,000.00/yr. The overall pay depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. The full salary range reflects market value and opportunities for progression within the role. Some roles may include additional compensation such as commissions or bonuses as defined by the compensation plan.

Work arrangement:
Remote; candidates must reside in the Eastern Time Zone. Training is paid and lasts approximately 12 weeks (Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM EST).
