Billing Specialist II

• Hourly base pay rate is $19.57 - $29.38/hour, with potential for additional compensation through commissions and incentives
• Minimum of 6.67 hours of paid time off accrued monthly, along with seven paid holidays per year

• Prepare repair orders by documenting symptoms, problems, and required services based on technician input
• Verify accuracy of VMRS codes and ensure billing hours align with standard repair times
• Generate actual invoices from created repair orders, applying customer-specific rates and mark-ups
• Improve repair order quality by identifying and correcting discrepancies to minimize customer disputes
• Communicate with customers to obtain purchase order approvals and address billing inquiries

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent education and experience combination
• Proficiency in Mitchell One or similar estimating systems
• Strong written, verbal, and phone communication skills, along with exceptional customer service abilities
• Proficient in MS Office and capable of navigating software for generating estimates and processing invoices
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations accurately and maintain attention to detail

• Experience in service writing is preferred
• A proactive, action-oriented approach with a sense of urgency in daily tasks
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Demonstrated capability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging customer interactions
