Customer Relations Advisor

You will be part of the Customer Relations Team, delivering outstanding customer service to all guests resulting in increased retention rates through brand loyalty. This is achieved working via an offline call centre and online reservation booking system. Your role will advise customers pre and post trip, from the curious open water swimmers to the dedicated open water athlete, in UK, Europe, Australia, NZ and the USA to name a few.

Reporting to the Head of Customer & Partner Relations, the key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Contribute to delivering the company’s customer service strategy
  • Contribute to the management of feedback to enhance the customer experience
  • Contribute to general customer service administrative procedures
What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • At least 1 year experience working in a customer service position
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Pro‑active approach to work, with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to multi‑task and manage time effectively
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently
  • Self‑motivated and flexible approach to work
  • Ability to work under pressure, think ahead and prioritise tasks appropriately
  • Good I.T. skills, including a working knowledge of all Microsoft applications
  • Ability to quickly learn new skills and systems
  • Friendly and enthusiastic, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility with working days and hours

Desirable:

  • To be able to speak a foreign language.
  • Ability to self‑manage and motivate.
  • Knowledge of advanced Excel and creation of data reports
  • Knowledge & experience of complaint handling processes and legal requirements
  • Open water swimming experience
  • Travel industry experience
  • Experience of using a CRM
  • Knowledge & experience of complaint handling processes and legal requirements

The details
  • LOCATION
    :
    Office based - located on Brighton Beach (Sea Lanes) overlooking a 50m pool and the sea
  • SALARY
    : £26,000-£28,000 depending on experience
  • HOLIDAYS
    : 33 days (inc. Bank Holidays)
  • PENSION
    : enhanced employer contribution
  • WORKING HOURS
    :
    Full time based on 37.5 hours a week, including rostered weekend work with a week day in lieu.
  • FLEXIBLE HOURS
    :
    Between 8AM-6PM with remote working options.
