About The Role
Buildfire is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Associate Account Manager to join our growing Commercial Team. In this role, you’ll support a portfolio of customers by helping them stay engaged, successful, and retained on the Buildfire platform. You’ll work closely with Customer Success, Support, and senior Account Managers to deliver a great customer experience and identify opportunities for growth over time.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in the early stages of their account management career who wants to develop strong SaaS customer-facing skills in a fast-paced environment.

- Support a portfolio of customers, serving as a key point of contact for day-to-day needs and questions.
- Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders through regular check-ins and proactive communication.
- Help manage customer renewals by tracking timelines, coordinating outreach, and escalating risk early.
- Identify opportunities to increase product adoption by sharing best practices, resources, and new feature updates.
- Partner closely with Customer Success and Support teams to ensure issues are resolved quickly and customers feel supported.
- Maintain accurate customer notes, renewal tracking, and activity updates in the CRM.
- Assist with customer business reviews and account planning alongside senior team members.
- Communicate customer feedback internally to help improve the product and customer experience.
- Learn and grow into commercial account ownership and expansion responsibilities over time.
- 1–2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role (Account Management, Customer Success, Support, Sales, or similar).
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with customers.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- A proactive mindset — you enjoy helping customers, solving problems, and following through.
- Interest in building a career in SaaS, customer success, or account management.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Hub Spot, Salesforce, etc.) is a plus, but not required.
- Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business.
- Interest in mobile apps, digital platforms, or technology products.
- Previous experience working with small business customers or service-based accounts.
- Desire to grow into a full-cycle Account Manager role over time.
- Renewal and churn performance across assigned accounts
- Contribution to renewal outcomes and long-term account growth
- Customer engagement and account health indicators
- Renewal forecasting and CRM documentation and hygiene
