As a Collections Agent, you will be responsible for contacting customers to collect outstanding debts, support during vulnerabilities, negotiate payment arrangements, and maintain accurate records of interactions. You will review account status/information thoroughly by using the tools available and find the best solution for the customer where applicable. Take necessary follow up actions until the customer issues are fully resolved.

• Inbound and outbound communications with customers through telephone / e-mail / chat / SMS / web-site.
• Provide top customer service to help our customers resolve their accounts and offer additional support.
• Supporting vulnerable customers and tailoring the journey to meet their needs.
• Respond to inquiry/need and decide upon the most appropriate solution, if applicable.
• Negotiate payment plans with customers to resolve outstanding debts.
• Understand our clients’ products and services to help find the best solutions for the customer.
• Document all customer interactions and payment arrangements accurately in the system.
• Collaborate with other team members to develop strategies for improving customer service efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Model
:
Hybrid (combination of in-office and remote work)

Hours
:

Monday – Sunday 9am – 6pm (5 days per week)

Pay Rate
:£13 per hour, additional £0.50 allowance for weekend working

: 310 St Vincent Street, Dalmore House, Glasgow, G2 5RU
(Our brand new office)

• You are empathetic, a good listener, and want to help others.
• Experience in customer service and/or collections is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in finance or call centre environment is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer literate and proficient in using Microsoft Office/Google Suite (Excel, Word).
