Customer Service Rep
Picklebet is a fast-growing racing, sports and esports betting platform built for a new generation of players. We move quickly and constantly evolve our product to deliver new experiences for our customers. As we scale, our Support team plays a critical role in protecting player experience, trust, and fairness on the platform.
This isn’t a traditional helpdesk role; this is customer operations at the heart of a live, real-time digital product.
The RoleWe’re hiring Customer Support Operators to deliver high-quality, real-time support to our players via live chat and email. You’ll handle a wide variety of queries, from betting questions to account support and technical issues, while ensuring customers feel heard, understood, and supported.
This is an entry-level role with genuine scope to grow as our team expands. This is a full time permanent role, broken down into a 4 day rotational working week between the hours of 11:00-22:00, Monday to Sunday.
What You’ll Be Doing- Owning customer conversations across live chat and email, resolving issues efficiently and professionally, and building strong relationships with customers at all levels
- Delivering industry leading customer service
- Investigating customer feedback and raising opportunities for improvement to relevant business teams
- Supporting our commitment to responsible gambling by recognising potential signs of harm, following safer gambling procedures, and helping ensure a safe and fair experience for all players
- Acting as the voice of the customer by sharing feedback and trends with the wider team and collaborating cross-functionally with colleagues to support the resolution process
- Working effectively in a fast-paced, real-time environment where priorities can shift quickly
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or customer service role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm, empathetic & professional when handling customer concerns
- Confidence working independently in a remote environment
- Reliable home working setup and stable internet connection
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Betting industry experience and/or a genuine passion for Sport & Racing
- 2+ years of experience in betting, gaming, fintech, or other fast-moving digital environments
- Experience using tools like Zendesk, Jira, or Confluence
- A passion for racing and sport
