Your Role In a Nutshell

The Client Services Advisor’s role is to provide an exceptional client experience via all communication channels as the first point of contact to our clients and suppliers where ‘going the extra mile’ is part of the daily activity. To take ownership of all client enquiries both new and follow up, with a focus on providing first contact resolution or help whilst positively managing expectations:

  • Deliver Service Excellence to our clients; ensuring operational escalations are resolved quickly and effectively and communicated proactively to the client.
  • Ensure that specific client SLA’s are consistently met and that any issues that prevent SLA achievement are addressed appropriately.
  • Ownership of client query resolution; aiming for 1st time resolution and if escalated ensure that query is resolved, and client informed of outcome in a timely fashion.
  • Investigation and resolution of internal invoice queries to ensure clients are billed correctly.
  • Focus on continuous improvement by reviewing existing systems and processes, making recommendations for change to improve service, costs and efficiency.

  • Customer service expertise gained in a fast‑paced logistics environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of proactive client relationship management.
  • Highly developed organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
