Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in customer relationship management, commercial banking, or a similar environment. You will demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data, spreadsheets, and reporting tools will be essential. You should be a strong communicator, comfortable engaging with both internal stakeholders and customers, with the ability to provide clear and professional support.

A proactive and collaborative approach, alongside a commitment to delivering excellent customer service, will be key to success. Familiarity with regulatory requirements, risk awareness, and data protection standards will be highly beneficial.

Job Responsibilities

As a Customer Relationship Officer, you will support the Relationship Management team through planned customer engagement, portfolio analysis, and delivery support. This role combines regular customer interaction with analytical and reporting responsibilities to ensure effective portfolio oversight and a consistent customer experience. You will maintain regular contact with an allocated group of customers, handle inbound queries, and support activities such as refinancing, retention, and deal preparation.

You will also play a key role in preparing analysis for periodic reviews, tracking portfolio performance, and producing management information to support reporting and decision-making. Through a balance of customer engagement, data analysis, and operational support, you will contribute to strengthening service quality, insight, and risk awareness across the portfolio.
