Customer Service & Solutions Centre Backoffice Engineer
As part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, you will provide technical quotations, product sizing guidance, and application support across multiple customer touchpoints — ensuring every interaction strengthens customer relationships.
Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance to customers on product sizing, applications, system solutions, accessories, installations, and pricing via phone, email, chat, and digital channels.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to prepare technical quotations and respond to routine customer enquiries accurately and promptly.
- Manage and resolve technical cases through structured case management, tracking status and following up on outstanding issues.
- Register all customer activities, opportunities, and master data in the global Customer Relations Management tool according to company guidelines.
- Refer complex enquiries to senior staff or published resources, and suggest alternative products or services where appropriate.
- Maintain up-to-date customer records using databases and computerized systems to track enquiry volumes, content, and outcomes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience (0–3 years).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and comfort working with CRM and database systems.
- Solid understanding of customer service processes and the ability to follow established procedures and guidelines.
