Empire Life is actively seeking a Bilingual Claim Manager to enhance our Group Operations team. This role requires at least two years of disability claim management experience, along with knowledge of medical terminology and relevant policies. You will engage with claimants and employers, ensuring timely communication and resolution in all cases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate and assess initial and ongoing payment claims
• Conduct telephone interviews with claimants and employers
• Communicate proactively about claim status and updates
• Implement case management plans for timely returns to work
• Collaborate with team members for effective claims solutions
Requirements:
• Bilingual in French and English
• Minimum 2 years in disability claim management
• Knowledgeable about disability best practices
• Proficient with word processing and spreadsheets
• Strong communication and customer relations skills
