As a Customer Service Representative, you will:

  • Respond to incoming customer calls professionally and courteously.
  • Handle customer inquiries related to products, services, accounts, and transportation programs.
  • Process transactions such as payments, refunds, account updates, and related requests.
  • Accurately document customer interactions and transaction details within company systems.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and provide timely resolutions whenever possible.
  • Escalate complex concerns to appropriate departments for further assistance.
  • Provide accurate information regarding fare media, transportation programs, and service offerings.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics including call quality, resolution rates, and transaction accuracy.
  • Contribute to a positive customer experience through effective communication and problem‑solving.
Candidate Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and accurate data entry skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced call center environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must reside within Metro Vancouver, Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or call center environments.
  • Experience using CRM software or customer support platforms.
  • Experience handling high‑volume customer interactions.
  • Ability to manage challenging customer situations professionally.
  • Knowledge of transportation services or public transit systems is considered an asset.

Job Type: Full‑Time

Salary: $17.42–$23.95 per hour

Schedule:

  • Shift‑based role
  • Weekends required as needed
  • Holiday coverage required as needed
  • Operating hours: 6:30 AM – 11:30 PM

Training Requirement:

Successful candidates must attend six weeks of on‑site training at Cubic's Burnaby office before transitioning to remote work.
