Weekend Receptionist – St Helens Hall Care Home Job Type: Permanent Job Description
Hours:
Saturday & Sunday, 9am-5pm
Salary: £12.76 per hour
We are currently looking for a friendly, organised, and professional Weekend Receptionist to join our team at St Helens Hall Care Home.
About the RoleAs the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff, you will play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a busy setting.
Key Responsibilities- Greeting visitors and ensuring a positive first impression
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Managing enquiries from residents, families, and external professionals
- Handling incoming/outgoing post and deliveries
- Maintaining the reception area to a high standard
- Supporting basic administrative duties
- Friendly, approachable, and compassionate
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident using a telephone and basic computer systems
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous reception or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
