Overview
The Tier 1 Patient and Member Support Representative plays a critical role in providing outstanding customer service to patients and members within a call center workplace. This position involves managing inbound calls, emails, and chats to address inquiries, resolve issues, coordinate queues, and provide information about Teladoc Health services. The representative ensures high customer satisfaction by addressing concerns professionally and efficiently, while occasionally handling crisis situations.
The role requires versatility to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, and strong telephonic communication abilities to explain complex concepts to a diverse member base.
- Manage inbound calls, emails, and chats to address inquiries, resolve issues, coordinate queues, and provide information about Teladoc Health services.
- Address customer concerns professionally and efficiently to ensure high satisfaction; occasionally handle crisis situations.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
- Explain complex concepts clearly to our diverse member base.
- Apply strong problem-solving and organizational skills to address challenges.
- Earn $24 CAD per hour.
- Minimum commitment of 15 hours per week; you can work more hours if you want.
- Flexible work schedule:
Monday to Friday 5:00 AM–9:00 AM EST;
Thursday and Friday 8:00 PM–12:00 AM EST;
Saturday and Sunday 5:00 AM–10:30 AM EST. - Gain in-demand experience in healthcare and tech, building skills in virtual healthcare, patient communication, and crisis handling.
- Exceptional empathy and active engagement with members and patients, demonstrating a genuine understanding of their needs.
- Exemplary organizational skills, adept at managing multiple priorities in a high-paced environment.
- Able to adapt to new processes and thrive in a rapid-paced work environment.
- Bi-lingual English and French required.
