About the Role

To provide first‑line technical support and exceptional customer service to all college staff and learners, ensuring prompt resolution of routine IT issues and effective escalation of complex problems. This role serves as the primary point of contact and communication for digital services, delivering responsive support that enables effective teaching, learning, and administrative operations across all campus locations.

Candidates or employees with accessibility or reasonable adjustment needs are encouraged to discuss these with the People & Culture team.

Equal Opportunities

We welcome applications in both Welsh and English. Applications submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than those submitted in English. If you are a Welsh speaker or learner, we would be delighted to receive your application.

All staff employed at Coleg y Cymoedd have a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of learners, and all those working at the College are expected to uphold this commitment. As part of our safer recruitment processes, all new starters must successfully complete the required pre‑employment checks prior to commencing employment, including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

For roles involving direct interaction with learners, registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is also a mandatory requirement. We are a values‑driven organisation committed to employing a diverse workforce and fostering an inclusive environment where colleagues are respected and supported to be themselves. As a Disability Confident Leader, we actively encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds and communities, particularly in relation to age, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, religion and/or belief.
