Social Media Content Specialist - English - Remote

Job Summary

ICUC, a global leader in social media solutions, seeks a remote community manager to moderate and engage on behalf of our clients across multiple platforms. The position is full‑time, contract‑based, with competitive hourly pay.

Days: 8AM–4PM Central Time – Evenings: 4PM–12AM Central Time – Overnights: 12AM–8AM Central Time. Flexibility to cover evenings and weekends is required.

• Moderate and respond to comments across client social channels using their brand voice.
• Write thoughtful, engaging content that sparks conversations and drives engagement.
• Ensure online communities remain safe, respectful, and aligned with client guidelines.
• Escalate issues, insights, and trends to the internal team as needed.
• Act as a true extension of client brands by understanding strategy, tone, and audience.

• Strong written communication skills in English (spelling, grammar, clarity) with cultural awareness.
• Experience managing social platforms, specifically moderating and engaging.
• Ability to write for brands and adapt tone for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with all major social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok).
• Comfort engaging with a variety of content topics: tech, retail, food, hospitality, tourism, health, pharma.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and excellent customer‑service instincts.
• Access to reliable, high‑speed internet suitable for remote work.

Hourly pay range: $15–$19.70

CAD or the provincial minimum wage, whichever is higher. Pay varies with experience and skill level. Employees working a minimum of 22 hours per week qualify for medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and other benefits.
