Your new role
A key responsibility is to give support and advice to visitors primarily over an intercom system and occasionally over the phone or via email. The roles will involve assisting visitors using a computer dashboard, which enables us to remotely raise exit barriers for visitors who are on site, and we can use the dashboard to investigate any queries about their visit, payment or their or Forestry England Membership.

This role may also involve liaising with our suppliers and contractors to troubleshoot issues. There will be ad-hoc requirements during quieter periods to support the wider team with administrative tasks.

Key work areas include:

• Assist with remote monitoring of barriered car park systems, responding to and helping visitors over an intercom system.
• Use our Customer Relations CRM Software system Connections to help answer Membership queries and support the Membership team with any parking-related issues.
• Liaise with external contractors and suppliers in the event of any problems with equipment or software.
• Any other parking related tasks reasonably requested by your line manager.

• Exemplary written and oral customer service skills.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Proven administrative ability and strong attention to detail.
• Competent IT user with experience of Microsoft suite of applications (Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook).

• 1 x 16 hours a week. Hours are Thursday to Sunday each week, 4-8pm.
• 1 x 8 hours a week. Hours are Saturday and Sunday each week, 4-8pm.
