With a portfolio of nearly 100 short-let properties across Edinburgh, our experienced local team provides a responsive and professional service to guests, property owners and clients. About the Role:We are looking for a reliable and confident individual to join our team on a part-time basis, providing out-of-hours support across our short-let portfolio. Offering flexibility, independence and responsibility within a supportive and experienced team, this role is particularly well suited to someone looking to gain valuable professional experience alongside their studies or other commitments.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage guest communications across Airbnb, , email and telephone
- Respond to guest enquiries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally
- Attend properties across Edinburgh when an issue cannot be resolved remotely
- Coordinate with cleaning teams, maintenance contractors and property managers
- Log, monitor and follow up on maintenance and guest-related issues
- Escalate urgent or complex matters to the appropriate team member
- Carry out occasional property and safety checks, including smoke and heat alarm checks
- Assist with guest reviews and other administrative tasks as required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- A professional and confident telephone manner
- Good knowledge of Edinburgh and the ability to travel around the city
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement
- The ability to prioritise tasks and remain organised in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence working independently and making appropriate decisions
- Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Flexible part-time working hours

This is a part-time out-of-hours position, with shifts covering Monday (4 pm - 10 pm), Saturday (8 am - 3 pm) and Sunday (3 pm - 10 pm).
