French speaking travel consultant

Are you an experienced Travel Consultant with fluent French and looking for your next move within the travel industry?

I’m recruiting for a French-speaking Groups Travel Consultant to join a busy travel team in the London area. This would suit a Travel Consultant who enjoys the operational side of travel, coordinating bookings and making sure everything is in place from confirmation through to travel.

You’ll manage confirmed group bookings, liaise with overseas partners and suppliers, handle amendments and cancellations, request and update quotes, arrange payments and ensure itineraries and travel documentation are accurate and issued on time. You’ll also support the wider team with group enquiries and quotes.

• Previous experience as a Travel Consultant or within travel operations
• Fluent French – essential (and English)
• Good knowledge of the travel industry
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Confidence dealing with suppliers and overseas partners
• Someone who can manage multiple bookings and deadlines
• Based in London or within a sensible commute

• Salary £25,000–£28,000 depending on experience
• Monday–Friday working hours
• Office based in London for the first 3 months, with the option to work from home 2 days per week thereafter
• London Tube travel covered after one year’s service
