About the Role
Our client is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Travel Consultant specializing in adventure tourism to join their team in Kimberley . This role involves crafting bespoke adventure itineraries for clients, leveraging your expertise in thrilling travel experiences and destinations. You will be responsible for consulting with clients, understanding their preferences, designing personalized travel plans, and ensuring a seamless booking process. The ideal candidate has a deep love for adventure travel, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to translate client desires into unforgettable journeys, contributing to the company's reputation as a leader in adventure tourism experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and adventure interests.
- Design and customize adventure travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation, activities, and transportation.
- Provide expert advice on destinations, safety, and optimal travel times for adventure pursuits.
- Manage bookings, process payments, and ensure all travel documents are in order.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, destinations, and offerings in adventure tourism.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the booking process and pre-travel period.
- Proven experience as a Travel Consultant, with a strong focus on adventure or niche tourism.
- In-depth knowledge of popular adventure travel destinations and activities worldwide.
- Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and travel booking platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage client portfolios effectively.
- A passion for adventure, travel, and creating unique client experiences.
