About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented E-commerce Operations Assistant to support their online retail business, operating fully remotely. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of their e-commerce platform, from order processing to customer communication. You will work closely with various teams to manage online listings, fulfill orders, and maintain customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced digital environment, making a significant contribution to the company's online success and customer experience without the need for a physical office presence.
Key Responsibilities- Process online orders accurately and efficiently, coordinating with fulfillment and shipping departments.
- Manage product listings on the e-commerce platform, ensuring descriptions, pricing, and images are up-to-date and accurate.
- Respond to customer inquiries and support requests via email and chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor website performance and identify any technical issues, escalating them to the relevant teams.
- Assist in managing inventory levels across online channels, flagging low stock items.
- Gather and analyze basic e-commerce data to support operational improvements.
- Previous experience in e-commerce operations, administration, or customer support is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Woo Commerce) and online marketplaces.
- Excellent written communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with basic digital marketing concepts is a plus.
