Reservations Agent

About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-service driven Reservations Agent to join their expanding team. This role can be performed remotely, offering flexibility and the chance to be part of a dynamic hospitality group. You will be responsible for managing room reservations, inquiries, and providing information about services and amenities. Your excellent communication skills and knowledge of booking systems will be crucial in ensuring a smooth and positive booking experience for guests.

The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and passionate about contributing to guest satisfaction from the very beginning of their journey.

• Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Accurately enter and update reservation details in the booking system.
• Provide guests with information on room availability, rates, amenities, and local attractions.
• Process payments and manage cancellations or modifications to bookings.
• Upsell room types, packages, and additional services to enhance guest stays.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled.

• Previous experience in a reservations or customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in using reservation software and general computer applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
