Reservations Agent

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and customer-oriented Reservations Agent to join their fully remote team, supporting their operations in Kimberley . You will be responsible for handling room bookings, inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service via phone, email, and online chat. This role demands excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to efficiently manage booking systems to ensure accurate reservations and a positive guest experience.

You will act as a key point of contact, representing the brand and contributing to guest satisfaction from the initial booking stage onwards.

• Process reservations accurately and efficiently via various channels (phone, email, online portals).
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries regarding availability, rates, and services.
• Upsell room types, packages, and additional services to enhance guest stays.
• Maintain guest data integrity within the reservation system.
• Handle booking modifications, cancellations, and special requests with professionalism.
• Provide information about the hotel and local attractions to potential guests.

• Previous experience in reservations, front desk, or a customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
• Proficiency with reservation systems and standard office software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
