Onsite/Remote:Remote Position

This position is eligible for remote work at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

As the Customer Success Manager within the Strategic Account Group (SAG) Organization
, you will develop deep customer relationships and be the single point of contact for customers regarding customer support, fleet optimization, and sales enablement. In this job, you will:

  • Drive customer value and business growth by partnering with Strategic Account Managers to improve fleet performance, increase digital tool adoption, and increase aftermarket sales,
  • Deliver consultative support, training, and best-practice guidance that helps customers maximize the value of their equipment, technology solutions, and operational processes.
  • Lead proactive customer success initiatives by leveraging data and customer insights to improve productivity, profitability, and technology adoption.
  • Own customer support and issue resolution, coordinating with dealers, field teams, and factory resources to minimize downtime and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer within John Deere, advocating for product enhancements, process improvements, and solutions that increase customer satisfaction.
  • Align cross-functional teams and dealer partners to ensure consistent execution, effective communication, and successful delivery of customer-focused initiatives.

What Skills You Need
  • Experience working directly with customers and dealers to sell, support, and resolve issues related to equipment, aftermarket products, or technology solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of construction equipment applications, machine systems, diagnostics, and customer operations
  • Proficiency with digital and connected solutions, including Operations Center, Service Center, Pro Service, or other technology platforms that support equipment management or diagnostics.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data, analytics, and customer insights to identify opportunities, solve problems, and business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to influence without authority and collaborate effectively across dealer, customer, and internal teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%
What Makes You Stand Out
  • Demonstrated experiences helping customers successfully adopt new technologies and business practices with measurable business impact
  • Direct experience working in site development, aggregate or underground applications
  • Direct experiences managing machine fleets across multiple jobsites
Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Marketing, or Business or related area of study or equivalent experience
